Introduction to Star EDS (Economic Die Change Rapid Mold Exchange System)
The "EDS System" is a system that achieves "reduction of setup time" and "consistent positioning accuracy regardless of who performs the setup." We offer a lineup that includes the "EDS Die Set," "EDS Alignment Jig," and "EDS Base Plate." This system is also referred to as "QDC (Quick Die Change)" or "Rapid Die Exchange System." 【Features】 ■ Unlike conventional die sets that incorporate integrated molds, the mold is mounted on a small base plate, which is then attached to the EDS die set. ■ Positioning is completed simply by turning a knob by hand. ■ The tightening of the base plate can be easily done using a mechanical manual clamp or an automatic hydraulic clamp. ■ By using a dedicated base plate, it is easy to attach and detach molds not only for single-stroke die sets but also for large die sets and multi-process die sets. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
